Meet Our Staff
Hello, my name is Becky Lassen. I work as a registered dental hygienist. In this capacity, I clean teeth, provide patient education as related to tooth decay and gum and bone disease. I also give instruction on proper brushing and flossing techniques. I help Dr. Finley with identifying oral disease and abnormalities. I live in the area with my husband, children and a herd of goats. Never a dull moment!!
We all look forward to meeting you, and helping you to maintain good oral health.
Hello, my name is Doris Sweeney. After many years of administrative experience, I am very pleased to have the opportunity to continue in that capacity with Dr. Finley. Dr. Finley has been a friend as well as my dentist since 1983. I really enjoy coming to work each day. Everyone in this office is part of the team and we have a great time working together. Interacting with our patients and their families is a bonus of my job.
I was born and raised in Kentucky and love my family, animals, flowers and crafts. I have worked in the health care field since 1989. Following my husband, Dan (aka Dr. Dirt), while he earned his Master’s and PHD degrees meant moves to West Lafayette, IN (Purdue) and Gainesville, FL (University of Florida.) He is a full professor with Kansas State University and does research at the SEK Ag Research Center.
So come in to say hello and visit our down-home friendly office.
Hello, my name is Cindy Berndt. I have worked as a chairside assistant (amongst other duties) for Dr. Finley since August of 1991. Some of my other responsibilities include helping in the business office, being the OSHA coordinator, ordering supplies and training new employees.
I consider myself fortunate to have a job that is challenging, rewarding, and gives me the opportunity to meet many people, hopefully making a healthy difference in their lives.
In my spare time, I keep busy with church activities, cycling, gardening, quilting and other family functions. I have three grown daughters.
Hello, my name is Marti and I live in the big town of Cherokee, Kansas and have worked with Dr. Finley since I obtained my dental hygiene degree from Missouri Southern State University in May, 2000. I’m married and have a son and two daughters. Before I received my hygiene degree, chair-side assisting was my passion. I worked in that capacity for approximately 11 years and have greatly benefited from that experience. Personally, I find it very rewarding to be able to help individuals overcome or prevent dental disease and improve their quality of life.
I enjoy living in a rural setting, spending time with my family and playing with my grandchildren. I also enjoy riding my bicycle and gardening.
